Oscar Aristides Renta Fiallo left his beloved Dominican Republic at the age of 18 to study painting in Spain. He soon abandoned that pursuit to learn everything he could about fashion, apprenticing with Cristobal Balenciaga and assisting at Lanvin. He went out on his own in 1965, and that was that. Ladies of high society have relied on him ever since for color, refinement, and a touch of the Latin exotic in their wardrobes.

Does the fashion style of legendary designer #ODLR still stand up? The great man’s natty grandeur will live for ever ..
