“My @Instagram has become a very prominent tool in the promotion of my models. If I post a polaroid of a new face with the “right look” I am generally bombarded with requests from photographers, clients and agencies around the world interested to know more. It’s become a bit of a race. The agencies on top of their social media presence are the ones with the future in mind. The industry is evolving and it is important for me and my models to maintain an active presence on the internet. You can follow me on Instagram @chantalenadeau “

MONTREAL | Success Never Goes Vintage
Catherine Malandrino Supports Dress for Success New Montreal’s Office

For almost 20 years, Dress for Success has promoted the economic independence of disadvantaged women by providing professional attire, a network of support and the career development tools to help women thrive in work and in life. To date, Dress for Success has helped more than 700,000 women work towards self-sufficiency. Montreal is the latest addition to their locations having launched in May 2014.

French designer Catherine Malandrino meshes the romance of Paris with the energy of New York. “I want to bring softness and refinement to an urban, feminine wardrobe and to help the woman show her character and individuality through her unique clothes.” says Malandrino, who showed her first collection in 1998, right after helping Designer and Council of Fashion Designers of America’s President Diane Von Furstenberg with her own relaunch. Montréal, the right mix between New York and Paris, was also the latest addition to her boutiques having launched in November 2013.

It was a natural altruistic fit between Dress to Success and Catherine Malandrino. Both home-based in New York, both in the conquest of Montréal.
