MUGLER BY DAVID KOMA
PROUESSES PARISIENNES

David Koma who was born in Georgia and grew up in St Petersburg, moved to London several years ago to study at Central St Martins fashion college. He graduated February 2009 with an MA and his sculptural, body-conscious collection, in black and flesh-tones, featuring architectural metal and plastic details, carried off the prestigious Harrods Design Award, previously won by Christopher Kane, in 2006.

Starting this season chez ‪Mugler, David Koma opted for deconstructing Romain Kremer – the real mind – and Nicola Formichetti – both now #rebooting Diesel -‪‎‬ legacy for a dialectic retour à l’épuré et aux sources too: powerful, free-spirited and sassy designs for strong women who aren’t afraid of standing out from the crowd, yet also have good taste, and an aptitude for combining things and colours, elegance, grace, an easy-parisian sophistiquée, and delicacy. Yes, delicacy.

With him, la femme wants to experiment more. She thrills in fashion a lot more and expresses herself with a lot more daring. And it is David Koma who is standing by her Spring Summer 2015 interests.

Delicacy is the elegance of power.
